Use this tool to quickly calculate TIGER hashes.
In 1995, Ross Anderson and Eli Biham developed Tiger, a cryptographic hash function specifically optimized for 64-bit platforms to ensure efficient performance. The Tiger hash value is 192 bits in size. For compatibility with protocols that assume a specific hash size, truncated versions known as Tiger/128 and Tiger/160 can be utilized. Unlike the SHA-2 family, Tiger does not define any distinct initialization values; instead, the initialization values are merely the prefixes of the complete Tiger/192 hash value. This design characteristic sets Tiger apart in terms of its initialization process compared to other cryptographic hash functions.
