HAVAL hash

HAVAL, created in 1992 by Yuliang Zheng, Josef Pieprzyk, and Jennifer Seberry, is a cryptographic hash function that operates differently from MD5. Similar to modern cryptographic hash functions, HAVAL has the capability to generate hashes of various lengths, including 128 bits, 160 bits, 192 bits, 224 bits, and 256 bits. Additionally, HAVAL offers the flexibility for users to specify the number of rounds (3, 4, or 5) for generating the hash. However, it is worth noting that HAVAL's security was compromised in 2004, as indicated by research findings.
